Welcome!
I’m Kaitlyn,
I am a Specialist Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who has taken the leap to work for herself.
Professionally - I found my passion working in Positive Behaviour Support in 2021, and have since completed behaviour support micro-courses at Monash University and The University of Melbourne. Previously I worked for 3 years in Aged Care as an Assistant In Nursing, and then another 3 years as a mental health Registered Nurse in our local acute Psychiatric wards in Albury and Wangaratta. I have my Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing from RMIT, and am also studying my Masters in Mental Health Nursing.
Personally - I am raising a rambunctious fiery red head who’s been on Behaviour Support Plans through daycares for years. I understand how hard it is to be heard by therapists who might ‘tell’ rather than ‘do with’ us, or fall through on expectations. Let alone the effort, time, and endurance it takes to try to get people to change environments, approaches, and understanding.
I prioritise ensuring you feel in control, informed, and supported when we try to embed changes.

MEET KAITLYN

MEET PAUL
Hi I'm Paul,
This is an exciting new role for me! I'm coming into my 8th year of Mental Health Nursing in our local acute psychiatric wards. My passion for dual disability care came about in 2024 when I began supporting an NDIS participant in a core support role. I'm eager to grow my knowledge and skills under Kaitlyn's wing, and I'm also completing a behaviour support micro-course through The University of Melbourne.
Physically aggressive behaviours are my area of interest, as I'm also a qualified PART trainer (Predict, Assess, and Respond to Aggressive & Assaultive Behaviours) using this knowledge to inform de-escalation techniques.
Paul brings a positive energy to any room. He's no stranger to stimming, and is eager to enjoy the work life balance of this role to escape the psych-nursing night shifts, and enjoy his home time with his wife, son, daughter, & doggy Lotti.
I'm passionate about helping people achieve their goals, no matter how big or small, to improve their lives so they can be the happiest, most confident versions of themselves! - Paul
I love the positive energy Paul brings to the team and look forward to the impact he will make going forward. -Kaitlyn

Strengths of going small -
-
It’s just us two! Meaning you won’t be handed over and hand balled to various different people.
-
We're person centred with a positive approach to risk. Meaning we can embed your personal preferences into strategies to align with NDIS values and requirements.
-
We take pride in our work ethic, we're dedicated to exceeding expectations, continuous professional development, and clear communication.
Limitations -
-
It's just us two! Meaning that once our capacity is full, availability will depend on when we can work ourselves out of a job with our current participants.
